Kayla Shupe, Founder and Mortuary Practitioner
“I offer what I have learned. I invite you to carry it forward as it suits your path.”
Walking With the Work, One Day at a Time
I have spent a decade learning the rhythms of death care, attending carefully to each life, and supporting those who carry this work with intention and care. Every day offers lessons that cannot be rushed, and every task demands steadiness of body, mind, and heart.
This work is not easy. It asks for patience, reflection, and discernment. My role has been to observe, to bear witness, to bear the weight and to provide tools and guidance that allow others to continue their practice safely and sustainably. The U. P. lift device, (Undertaker’s Portable Lift) which is currently patent pending, as well as professional consultation, and practical templates are offered in this spirit as quiet support (not replacement for skill) and always with respect for the integrity of the calling.
I walk alongside mortuary practitioners who seek structure and reflection, offering accompaniment in moments when guidance can help preserve longevity, reduce strain, and strengthen their care. The work continues whether or not this support is taken; my purpose is simply to offer what I have learned.
